Importance Of Algebraic Thinking For Preservice Primary Teachers

Abstract: To develop and enhance the algebraic thinking of pupils in primary schools, the prospective primary teachers need themselves to exhibit high level of algebraic thinking skill and be able to articulate what it is that they are doing. The purpose of this is to investigate the algebraic thinking skills of the prospective primary school teachers prior to any formal lecture in algebra.
