Accommodation
Delegates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
Conference participants can choose from a wide range of accommodation options: on-campus
or off-campus. Participants are encouraged to opt for on-campus accomodation
which is within walking distance from the conference venue.
Participants opting for off-campus accommodation will have to make their own transportation arrangements to the venue.

Please Note
- The rates quoted are subjected to prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST) and 10%
service charge.
- With effect from 1 April 2012 breakfast is optional at $12 per guest each morning.
- Next to NEC is the NV 50 restaurant that offers chinese and western cuisine as well
as a Bar Lounge.
- It is 5 min walk to the nearest bus stop which will bring you to the conference
venue or to the nearest MRT.
- Guests can arrange for taxi services at the reception.
50 Standard Rooms and 30 Twin Sharing Rooms have been reserved for MERGA 2012 participants
at NEC on a first come first serve basis. The unbooked rooms will be released for
resell by NEC after 28 May 2012. We strongly advise participants who wish to stay
on-campus at the NEC to make their bookings very early.

2) Residence Hall Accommodation

- Max 2 persons per room.
- Each room comes with twin beds.
- No internet access.
- Residents on each floor have to share bathroom facilities.
- Male residents stay on a floor different from female residents.
- Bedlinen, pillows and blankets are provided, but
not towels and toiletries.
- All rooms are air-conditioned.
- Smoking is prohibited in all residence halls.
- No meals are provided by the Halls. Residents may have their meals at any of the 12 canteens and cafes on campus.
- Payment for the full duration of the stay should be made in cash (Singapore Dollars) at check in.
- Reservation closes on 4 Jun 2012.
- Check in time is 1p.m. Check out time is 12 noon.
