| Research Interest |
His research in mathematics education encompasses several areas: comparative study of mathematics curriculum, multi-modal teaching strategy, learning difficulties in mathematics, problem solving heuristics, Logo and ICT, and mathematics teacher education. He is currently the principal investigator for the Singapore team in the IEA study on Teacher Education Study: Mathematics (TEDS-M). He has also published work in general education about pupils’ discipline problems, teacher concerns, and career choice of pupils. His work spans five countries, namely Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore. | |
