Qualifying Test
(For July 2008
Intake)
All Polytechnic Diploma holders who have been granted admission to the Bachelor of Science (Education) Course and wish to read Mathematics as their Academic Subject will be required to sit for a Mathematics Qualifying Test (MQT). Only those who pass the MQT will be allowed to read Mathematics as their Academic Subject. The MQT is a test of aptitude for solving mathematical problems. It covers all topics in Secondary School Elementary Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. In addition, questions on mathematical reasoning and logical thinking will be asked. If you are offered appointment and you need to sit for the MQT, click here to register for the MQT. All applicants sitting for the test are to bring along their NRIC for identification, their own writing material and a scientific calculator. Sample Questions
