The symbol of a key incorporating the Mathematics & Mathematics Education (MME) Academic Group logo is adopted as the logo for the MME Graduate Student community.

The key opens the door to the following aspects of graduate student life:

• Social support-- building new friendships through interactions with others in the community
• Academic Interaction -- engaging in meaningful academic communication with other graduate students and with academic staff
• Professional Development -- laying the basic building block to building a bright future in doing and leading research in the mathematics & mathematics education field

Through these three aspects, it is hoped that the lives of the graduate students be enriched, and thus creating a more vibrant graduate student community.
